Dundgovi Province Museum

The Dundgovi Province Museum traces its origins to February 5, 1949, when the Provincial Executive Committee issued Resolution No. 38 to establish a "Local Studies Cabinet." In May 1949, the cabinet officially opened in a single room of the provincial club, featuring more than 20 exhibits, primarily consisting of local mineral samples. Today, the museum preserves and showcases the rich history, culture, ethnography, natural heritage, paleontology, and archaeological treasures of Dundgovi Province. Orkhon Province Museum

The Orkhon Province Museum was first established in 1983 in the residence of the settlement pioneers, opening with approximately 300 exhibits that primarily showcased the friendship and development of Erdenet City. Bulgan Province Museum

The Bulgan Province Museum was established following Resolution No. 272 of the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People’s Republic, issued on July 21, 1965, which approved the creation of a branch museum in the historic building it occupies today. The museum building is a distinctive brick structure featuring a gray tiled roof and a unique architectural design that blends both Asian and European styles. Further development of the museum was supported by Resolution No. 184 of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party, issued on June 29, 1966. Today, the museum preserves and showcases the historical, cultural, and natural heritage of Bulgan Province through its collections and exhibitions.
